“FindFurnish and Let It Be Records Start New Vinyl Store: Already a destination for vintage furniture, housewares, clothing, and a few bins of records, northeast Minneapolis’s FindFurnish is going all in as a vinyl retailer. Starting on Friday, March 13, a whole room of the store will become It Records.

“Reservoir DJ Emma Peel dresses the part for vintage vinyl tour at Brunswick Music Festival: The Reservoir radio presenter and international DJ will debut her dress made of vinyl records next week when she appears in Emma Peel’s Vintage Vinyl Tour, taking festivalgoers through the 1960s alternative musical movements.”

“Daddy Kool Records reopens: (St. Petersburg, Florida) The record store next to the building that collapsed back in late February has reopened today.

“You’ll even be able to give your existing collection a spring clean. With record stores and fairs popping up all over London, the team behind the popular Hackney Flea Market will soon be launching the Hackney Record Fair in Dalston.”

“Serious audiophiles are all about vinyl these days. What’s vinyl worth though? Not autographed copies, or limited editions or anything special. Just ordinary copies of common albums.

“In the age of digital downloads, where a click can buy an album or you can stream a song straight to your phone, it seems the art of owning and buying music has faded. But hundreds of crate-diggers and audiophiles who gathered in Bridgeport on Saturday for WPKN-FM’s Music Mash Record Fair proved the experience of buying records is far from scratched out.
