TVD Ticket Giveaway: Scattered Trees at Lincoln Hall, 11/25

Chicago indie-rock group Scattered Trees are playing Lincoln Hall next Friday with local band A Lull, and we’ve got your tickets.

The members of Scattered Trees grew up together in the outskirts of Chicago, and soon became a staple of the city’s clubs and venues, releasing their debut album in 2006. Over time, it’s members moved on, and the band fell to the wayside, separating in 2007.

It wasn’t until 2009, when lead singer, Nate Eisland, picked up his guitar and began writing what would become the group’s latest release, Sympathy, that everything came back together. The album, which deals with the intricacies of love and loss is available on limited edition clear vinyl through Soul Step Records.

Short on cash? Once again, we’ve got you covered! Check out the Scattered Trees Black Friday Vinyl Giveaway to win a copy!

For a chance to win a pair of tickets to Scattered Tree’s 21+ show next Friday (11/25) at Lincoln Hall, tell us your favorite group that separated and then got back together. Although partially fictional, I’m going to have to go with the Blues Brothers. “We’re putting the band back together.”

The winner will be chosen on Tuesday, 11/22.
