TVD Ticket Giveaway: The Love Language at the RnR 5 Year Anniversary Party, 8/19

In the five years that it’s been open, The Rock and Roll Hotel has allowed hundreds of thousands of concert-goers to experience their favorite local, national, and international acts.

This Friday (8/19), Raleigh, North Carolina indie rockers The Love Language will be throwing down along with locals River James and Archivists to help DC celebrate the Hotel’s birthday in style, and of course, we have a pair of tickets for you to win.

Having released their sophomore album Libraries via Merge Records last summer, The Love Language and labelmates Telekinesis recently sold out RnR’s little brother Red Palace last spring.

Even earlier this year, we asked The Love Language’s front man Stuart McLamb, “What’s the weirdest thing a fan has given to you or said to you while on the last tour?” He answered, “Nothing comes to mind that’s really outlandish. Once a kid had me and Missy sign his shoes. I get this question a lot. Can a crazy fan out there please freak me out so I’ll have a good story for this popular interview question? Please?”

Want to oblige Stu? To win tickets to the Rock and Roll Hotel’s 5 Year Anniversary Party, tell us in the comments below, the most outlandish thing you would do if you met your favorite band.

Please don’t be inspired to do anything too freaky at the show, though. I’ll be there. I’ll be watching you.

In light of last week’s tragedy, I would have Warrant’s circa 1990 Jani Lane cover me in cherry pies.

The winner will be chosen Thursday (8/18) at noon.

I'm more into high fives than blow jobs, so probably just high fives.  But really really good high fives...you know what I mean?
