TVD Ticket Giveaway: M3 Rock Festival at MPP, 5/12

Admit it, if you had a time machine, there’s only one place you’d ever want to go. Okay, besides high-fiving George Harrison. Yeah yeah, and not counting smoking a cigar with a Sammy Davis, Jr. That’s right, everyone knows that the one and only place you’d ever want to go is back to the mid-to-late ’80s to see some of the best power ballad and hair metal concerts ever.

Well, what if I told you that you’d be able to skip studying the time traveling methodology in Primer in lieu of an opportunity to grab tickets to the M3 Rock Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion May 12th? Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am, but we’ve got your chance to win right now. With more of the best ’80s rock than you can shake an Etch A Sketch at, you’ll be banging your head if you miss out on this one.

So everyone knows that if you were cool in the ’80s, you owned a Thunderbird, you wore a jean jacket with cut-off sleeves, and you rocked out to the most shredding bands alive (dude). If only you could have seen all of your favorite bands together at once. The epic power ballads of Cinderella or the rock anthems of Quiet Riot in one night alone might cause any venue to implode.

Well, good news, folks. We’ve got a pair of 2-Day lawn tickets to give away, so you can witness the destruction firsthand at both the M3 Kix-Off Party on Friday and the festival itself on Saturday.

Additionally, Warrant (RIP Jani Lane), Ratt, Queensryche, Skid Row, and much more will be spiking your punch with their extended solos and soul-searching choruses (hopefully sung in full-on ’80s hair band rock attire).

So how in the world can you get your mitts on these sweet tix? It’s simple! In the comments below, tell us your favorite ’80s action movie. Since Christmas is my favorite time of year I personally can only answer with Die Hard.

The winner will be chosen on Monday (2/6) at noon. Good luck, and don’t forget to rock it!
