TVD Ticket Giveaway: M3 Rock Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion, 4/25-26

It’s almost that time of year again when music festivals roll into town, bringing bands and music lovers of all genres together for a day or weekend full of music, booze, and possible leg cramping.

These fun-filled weekends come in a variety of sizes and genres. The nationwide Vans Warped Tour is basically a traveling concert, hitting up numerous cities in a span of 50+ days. On the west coast, there’s indie, grunge-rock Coachella and SXSW. On the east coast, there’s the CMJ Music Festival for up-and-coming artists, and the hard-rock and metal M3 Rock Festival.

This year, the M3 Rock Festival celebrates its sixth year of bringing metalheads together for one big hurrah at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Though tickets went on sale last month, if you still haven’t gotten yours, have no worries! We’re giving away two-day passes each month leading up to the festival.

M3 Rock Fest features an epic line-up of eighteen bands sharing two non-overlapping stages over two days. This year, M3 is hosting its annual Kix-Off Party on Friday, April 25. Sharing the kick-off stages are bands Kix and Extreme with special guests Lita Ford and Winger. Day Two, Saturday, April 26, is jam-packed with several bands, alternatively dispersed on two non-overlapping stages, giving attendees the chance to enjoy the entire line-up.

This year’s line-up includes:

Night Ranger
Lita Ford
Sebastian Bach
L.A. Guns
Jack Russell’s Great White
Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel
Femme Fatale
John Corabi
Heaven’s Edge

Music fests are definitely the place to go to enjoy a nice cold drink and good tunes. To win a two-day pass to this year’s M3 Rock Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, leave a comment below naming your favorite kind of festival refreshment. Though not really served at music fests, my favorite festival food would have to be elephant ears.

A winner will be chosen on Monday, February 25. Passes are still available for purchase.
