Weekend Shots!

Snow be damned; it’ll take more than a little frost-slap in the face to derail a hard-earned weekend of booze, beats, and booty.

December might play dirty, but Denver can play harder. So bundle up in a nice whiskey blanket and strap on your dancing boots—this weekend has got a great selection of shows to thaw you out.

FRIDAY 12/2

Tonight kicks off Social Distortion’s weekend takeover with Suedehead and Chuck Ragan at The Ogden Theatre. It is also the only night with tickets still available, so get a move on it.

The How the Grinch Stole Christmas Tour is making a stop at Cervantes’s Masterpiece Ballroom, featuring The Grouch, Zion I, and Eligh, with guest performers Evidence and Prime Element.

Twist & Shout and 97.3 KBCO present Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers with Jon Mclaughlin at the Bluebird Theater.

SATURDAY 11/3

Me Talk Pretty will be raging out at the Gothic Theatre with Madina Lake, Hell or Highwater, New Years Day, Avion Roe, and The Crimson Red.

Generate some heat and work up a sweat with Beats Antique at The Filmore.

Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom gives you another opporutinty to dance ’til you drop with Free Bass Fo Yo Face!, and it is FREE… if you’re over 21 and squeeze through the doors before 10PM. The event features dubstep maestro Helicopter Showdown with Skynet, Despise, Dirty Monkey, and Ishe.
