“Stayin’ in bed this morning just to pass the time.” Now there’s an interesting and politically correct way to start today. My friends on Facebook are suggesting we “turn on” our television and set the channel to ANY channel that isn’t broadcasting the inauguration or the news. Remember channel 3? That would be a cool “go to” for January 20.
Speaking of…friends, let’s turn the TV on and tune “it” out for the day and rest our bodies and our minds—we’ll need them starting Saturday. We’ll gather our wits and move into the future.
As far as music is concerned, business life goes on. As our new musical business landscape revolves around streaming, the matrix never sleeps. It’s week three of January and here come the new releases! Some our Idelic favs make the list—Ariel Pink, Hanni El Khatib, Foxygen, Flaming Lips, Cloud Nothings, and Ty Segall.
So, 2017 here we are. This said, as far as this Idelic host is concerned, the canyon is still closed. Until further notice, deal with it—tune off and listen up!
