The Line Up with
Trey Songz and the
In and Out Festival

I really hope you’re best friends with Red Bull, all too familiar with 5 Hour Energy, or own a portable expresso machine that you carry around your neck, ’cause this weekend will have you busy running around and listening to an insane amount of great music.

From fantastic local representation to artists with world-wide recognition, these next three days are gonna punch you in the face through your eardrums… and it’s gonna be amazing.

Friday (3/9) is gonna launch things into overdrive with the kickoff of the three day In and Out Festival at the HiTone Cafe. With the traveling talent of Mikal Cronin, Ty Segall, Bare Wires, and K-Holes, this mixed cocktail of catchy tunes will have you dancing to different genres all night. But wait, there’s more! That’s right, the night will also contain Memphis heat from Tiger High and Manatees, so you’ll have plenty to love and support throughout your Friday night boogie.

Saturday (3/10) keeps the energy going with the second round of In and Out Festival acts at the HiTone. The Devil Makes Three, Southeast Engine, Phillip Roebuck, and The Kernal are going to be tearing your face a new one with a handful of different music styles that all carry “catchy-ass-hell” as a descriptive tag. From americana and folk to straightforward pop/rock, this Saturday is gonna keep you raging through the weekend.

If guitar music isn’t your thing, and you’d rather listen to your favorite radio hits live, the mid-south still has your back. Trey Songz will be going through all his hits and your favorite alternative cuts at the Landers Center, located just over Tennessee’s southern border in Southaven, Mississippi. If you’d rather shake your ass to some of America’s favorite R&B, this is the show for you.

Sunday (3/11) will bring you back to the HiTone for the third and final day of the In and Out Festival. Corrosion of Conformity will be showcasing their gritty rock along with the overdriven rich tones of TorcheValient Thorr’s super tight punk/metal and A Storm of Light’s ultra-dense hellish rock will round out the evening and weekend, leaving you drained before you have to run back to the 9-5 daily grind. (Good luck.)

Gaurenteed to drench your weekend in awesome, the Memphis live music scene is plenty busy these next few days. Come out and show your love!
