The Windsor Court
Now Features Music
in Two Venues

The swanky restaurant has long been a place for celebratory lunches and dinners. With the recent opening of a new first floor bar to compliment the better-known Polo Lounge, they have revamped the music lineup. Here’s a look at the new schedule.

The second floor Polo Lounge features music on the weekends. Friday night, the trombonist Michael Watson brings his traditional jazz quartet from 9 PM until Midnight.

Saturday nights, also from 9 PM to Midnight, feature the Shannon Powell Band. Powell (pictured) is one of TVD’s favorite drummers and he is joined by David Torkanowsky on piano, Roland Guerin on bass and Derek Douget on saxophone.

Another up and coming talent, the trumpeter Mario Abney holds forth with his jazz quartet on Sunday nights from 6-10 PM.

The new Cocktail Bar at the Windsor Court is also presenting live music three nights a week. Thursdays welcome the Meschiya Lake Quartet. The vocalist (pictured at top) will present a program of jazz and blues from 5-9 PM.

Shannon Powell moves downstairs on Fridays with a trio featuring David Torkanowsky and Roland Guerin from 5-9 PM.

Saturdays should be a treat for clarinet fans. The Pete Fountain protégé Tim Laughlin is performing duets with a revolving cast of pianists from 9 PM to Midnight.
