TVD Vinyl Giveaway: Motopony (s/t)

Seattle’s rising glitch-folk band Motopony stops in NY this Wednesday (at Ninth Ward in Buffalo) and Thursday (at Mercury Lounge in NYC) during their cross-country fall tour. The band has quickly gained momentum since they debuted their self-titled LP in May.

Recently labeled “buzzworthy” by MTV, the guys have also received support from the influential KCRW with an appearance on “Morning Becomes Eclectic.” On top of being featured as the Starbucks iTunes Pick of the Week, a guest editor on YouTube and performing in airport terminals for Southwest Airlines’ 40th Anniversary, the group has been recognized by Amazon, with Motopony’s song “King of Diamonds” as #14 on the “Best Songs of the Year So Far” and the song continues to stay on Sirius XM Spectrum’s Baker’s Dozen.

Occasionally, they even get shoutouts from celebs like Olivia Wilde and Matt Davis (Vampire Diaries).

Motopony performed at KCRW Summer Nights in LA during a couple months ago and last week PacSun.com premiered a video of the band performing “Wait For Me,” which you can watch below.

Whether you’re new to Motopony’s music or a fan since the start, we have a nice giveaway for you. Comment with which Motopony song is your favorite and why, and the best answer will get a copy of the group’s debut album on vinyl and a t-shirt.

We’ll choose our winners one week from today, 9/21!
