Sandy Relief Shows in Brooklyn this Weekend

There are a couple great Hurricane Sandy benefit shows going on in Brooklyn this weekend. So, not only can you hear and see some great local music, you can help out locally.

And if you are local, then you damn well know that relief efforts are far from over. Keep the love comin’, people!

First up, tonight, Breakthru Radio Presents: Friend Roulette , Flying Pace, Bright Brown, Katie Mullins at Union Hall. You might remember Friend Roulette from a “Grooves Shared” piece we did here at TVD with FR’s Matt Meade. You can find all the info here on the event’s FB page.

And on Sunday night, head to Williamsburg’s Union Pool for a long late-afternoon into late-night party excursion. When else can you drink from mid-afternoon straight through the night and not have a guilty-conscience about it?! In fact, you’ll be doing good.

So, go see great music from Wild Yaks, Shenandoah & The Night, Field Mouse, Ice Balloons, and much more, and get hammered…and know that it’s all for a good cause. RSVP here!

Merry weekend!
