So, Sir Paul joins Dave, Krist, and Pat at the Sandy Relief Concert (then afterward, SNL) and suddenly grunge is once more de rigueur. Or, being reappreciated at least.

And if you’ve found yourself pining away for the sludgy, noisy, flannel days of yore, GHXST—Shelley X, Chris Wild, and Nathan La Guerra—who describe their collaboration as “Deth Grunge,” invite you into the Run Lola Run world within their new video, “Doomgirl.”

GHXST released EVILWICKEDDESIRE, which compiled the first two GHXST EPs – EVIL’S WASTED ON YOU and NO REST FOR THE WICKED – on vinyl last year via Paris-based Desire Records plus London’s Club.The.Mammoth and Tip Top Recordings.
