TVD Vinyl Giveaway: Iron & Wine, Ghost on Ghost with autographed lyric sheet!

Singer-songwriter Samuel Beam has been strumming his sweet and soulful guitar diddies for the public since his 2002 Sub Pop debut with Iron & Wine.

Since then, the Americana icon has released a handful of albums, EPs, and live records covering the gamut of American folk and guitar pop influences. 2013 sees Beam active once again with the release of his fifth studio album, Ghost On Ghost.

How would you like to get your hands on a copy—and an autographed lyric sheet? It’s easier than you may think.

Though his style has changed a bit and his beard has seen some growth, Iron & Wine retains a warm, woody aesthetic that sounds like it originated in a Chevy sometime in 1974 while rattling down an old American highway. The new LP redefines Beam’s take on pop and simple verse/chorus arrangements with a warm, nostalgic air.

So, how can you get your hands on such a wicked get? It’s simple!

In the comments below, tell us your favorite album or song title that includes the word “ghost” in it. Since I’m a sucker for Animal Collective, I’m going with Avey Tare’s “Ghost of Books.”

One winner with a North American mailing address will receive Iron & Wine’s Ghost on Ghost on vinyl and the autographed lyric sheet! We’ll choose one ghostly winner a week from today, Tuesday, April 23.
