Introducing:
The Moth & The Mirror

The Scottish music scene just keeps coming up with great new bands, and the latest to capture our attention and stir our imagination, are The Moth & The Mirror.

The band is vocalist/guitarist Stacey Slevwright (formerly of The Reindeer Section and Arab Strap); ex-Frightened Rabbit member Gordon Skene (also on guitar and vocals); Louis Abbott, again on guitar and vocals; bassist Kevin McCarvel; percussionist Iain Sandilands, and drummer Peter Murch. Stacey, Gordon and Kevin also formed part of the band recruited to back Colin McLeod in his alter-ego, The Boy Who Trapped The Sun.

Now the group of highly talented spotlight dodgers are ready to make their mark. Check out “Lights In The Sky” here:

The album, Honestly, This World is released on Olive Grove Records on October 10th, and The Moth & The Mirror play Stereo in Glasgow on October 12th, and Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh on October 16th.
