Introducing:
Steve Smyth

Australian singer songwriter Steve Smyth unveils his new single “Endless Nowadays” on March 12th, taken from his debut album Release, which was issued last December.

Smyth’s voice has gravity and range, and “Endless Nowadays” comes over as an unholy alliance of Rufus Wainwright, wrestling with Tom Waits, whilst Neil Young kicks the door down and strangulates his fretboard. There is beauty and angst in equal measure.

We are pretty excited about this guy at The Vinyl District, and we suggest you also view this acoustic video of Steve performing “Barbiturate Cowboy And His Dark Horses” from the aforementioned album.

He will also be playing a few UK shows in March, and we strongly recommend you attend, as this guy is only going to get bigger.

March 12th – Kasbah, Coventry
March 14th – The Slaughtered Lamb, London
March 15th – The Taphouse, St. Agnes
March 16th – B-Side @ Bunters, Truro
