Vinyl Video: Johnny Marr, “The Messenger”

Johnny Marr, all around guitar great and ex-Smith, recently announced the early 2013 release of his debut solo album (that’s what he’s saying), The Messenger, on Sire/ADA. In keeping with all thing social, Marr has now made available a beautiful video for the album’s title track.

It finds our man wandering the woods and beaches of Formby, an area in the northwest of the UK, in Merseyside, near Liverpool. The 12 track album will be available on February 26, and tour dates are expected to follow.
