Nicole Atkins, touring in support of one of our favorite releases for the year, Mondo Amore returns to DC Sunday (8/7) and Monday (8/8) for two shows at the Birchmere with Fountains of Wayne—tickets available here!—but before those two dates, she’s stopping by DC’s Som Records for a special in-store—well, wait—outside the store performance.
This weekend, up and down and in and around 14th Street, NW is the 12th Annual Mid City Dog Days event when the local retailers and bars and restaurants throw open their doors and spill out onto the street with bargains galore.
Inside Neal Becton’s Som Records he’s got 20% off all used vinyl all weekend. Look for some $2 records outside on Saturday and outside on Sunday will be a DJ tent with DJ’s spinning during store hours.
