TVD Los Angeles Launches Today!

Welcome to The Vinyl District Los Angeles!

The official blog of Record Store Day 2011 has officially launched in LA, and we can’t wait to feed you local music news, features and everything vinyl.

My name is Ashley Eliot and I’m a Southern California music junkie. Currently, I am a music writer for new lifestyle magazine LA Canvas and I host a SoCal music show called Everyday Noise on HoundstoothRadio.com. Also, I founded Across The Universe PR, Marketing & Promotions, which works mostly with music and food industry clients. Now, I’m here updating you wonderful folks about local music on TVD and may I say…heck yes!

From new releases and interviews with record label execs to band features and rummaging through your vinyl collection, you’ll find it all here on this blog. And to start it off, so you can learn more about me and my musical taste, let’s dig through my personal record collection, which definitely needs some new additions. I better hit up Amoeba and Origami Vinyl stat.
