Rootsy folk-rockers The Felice Brothers, all the way from upstate New York, are hittin’ up the Hi-Tone Saturday night. And upon sampling of their new single “Ponzi” from their upcoming album Celebration, Florida (due May 10th), it looks like we’re in for a little bit of a surprise from the northern clan. I doubt the show won’t give us a peek of the new Felice Brothers.
If you haven’t seem the band at any of their many visits here, their live show shouldn’t be missed. They’re always on freakin’ tour, but you never know when they’ll be back.
Elvis Perkins’ backing band’s (Elvis Perkins In Dearland) new project Diamond Doves is supporting the brothers on this run, and they’re causing quite a stir themselves.
Doors at 9. 18+. $13/15. Don’t be square.
Tickets / The Felice Brothers Site / Diamond Doves MySpace
