As such, our friends at T.T. Topperz have created the ultimate hang for your solo spinning, DJ Trakkz, the proverbial strong and silent type—that badass at the center of it all. (And hell, he’s actually fantastic with crowds too.)
“T.T. Topperz, the world’s first collectable vinyl art toy solely made for use on turntables, will appear on store shelves in time for Record Store Day, Saturday April 18, 2015. A small number of units will be available at select local record stores across the country. The limited-run product is currently available for sale exclusively via the official T.T. Topperz website.
Each Turntable Topper comes with a proprietary removable base that does not interfere with record play, and fits on most modern turntables. DJ Trakkz, the first T.T. Topperz character in the series, wears a T-shirt with the number “33” on the back. The design was inspired by DJ culture, pop vinyl art, and an overall love for music on wax. He spins around until he gets dizzy, giving his eyes a slightly crazed look.
DJ Trakkz was created by NGW in Washington, D.C, in collaboration with Mindzai Labs in Toronto.”
