We’re less than 24 hours away from Record Store Day 2011, and if you’re anything like me, you’ve spent the last week pouring over TVD Nashville’s Comprehensive Release Guide Part 1 and Part 2, trying to make your wish list match your wallet. In case you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, here are ten best bets to help make your Record Store Day a winner!

TelevisionLive At The Old Warfield – Rhino – 2×12″ white vinyl – 3000 copiesLive At The Old Waldorf (San Francisco 6/29/78) was originally given the Rhino Handmade treatment back in 2003. That was CD only in an edition of 5,000 units. This Record Store Day 2011 version is 2LPs pressed on white 180 gram vinyl.

Karen ElsonVicious – Third Man – 7″ clear w/ roses vinyl – 1000 copies – Featuring a cover of Lou Reed’s Vicious, this single has rose petals in the vinyl!

Big StarThird (Test Press Edition) – Omnivore – 12″ vinyl – 1000 copies – Five copies of the original test pressings (courtesy of Jody Stephens) will be inserted into the mix. Which means not only that you can listen to a bit of history—but if you’re lucky you could own it, too. OFF!Live at Generation Records – Vice – 7″ vinyl – 2000 copies – This supergroup featuring members of Redd Kross, Circle Jerks, Burning Brides, and Rocket From The Crypt, have been tearing it up on stage lately, and a live release from them is a sure thing.

MastodonLive At The Aragon – Warner Brothers – 2×12″ vinyl + DVD – 3000 copies – Vinyl version of the band’s October 2009 performance at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom released earlier this year. Includes a ripping cover the The Bit by Melvins.
