Weekend Shots!

Looking for some live music in Chicago this weekend? We’ve got you covered. Check out this weekend’s featured show along with a more extensive weekend list below!

If you live in or around Chicago, you have probably noticed that this weekly piece offers a far from complete list of the shows in the Windy City. Unfortunately, there are just way too many establishments hosting talented musicians every weekend to cover them all. (Not a bad problem to have, honestly.) With that said, when a really awesome show is brought to my attention somewhere other than my standard 10 or so venues, I’m going to do my best to make sure it gets covered.

THE PHARMACY @ The Crown Tap Room, 2/18

Seattle’s psychedelic punk trio, The Pharmacy, will be rolling through Chicago this weekend as part of a national tour supporting their latest EP, Dig Your Grave. After releasing 3 albums and a handful of 7”s, Dig Your Grave hits hard, and offers insight into what can be expected from the group’s upcoming full-length LP, Stoned & Alone, due out later this year.

You can pick up the new 7” EP, “Dig Your Grave” for just $5 through Kind Turkey Records.
