    The “Artist on the Verge” Project is not an open contest for Artists to submit music to NMS, but are chosen from Artists who are doing it on their own and who have proven to have the greatest chance of success to break through nationally. NMS does not accept submissions and to be considered an Artist for this Project, you have to show up on the Ultimate Chart and Next Big Sound Chart and create a buzz yourself and be making a living as an Artist in doing so in selling merchandise, music, touring and have the media behind you in gaining the recognition for NMS to notice you.
