The single that started it all! ROIR, in conjunction with the Bad Brains, is proud to bring back this iconic slab of hot wax to its rightful place on record store shelves, and more importantly, in your collection. The remastered reissue of “Pay To Cum“, Bad Brains’ debut 7” single produced by Jimmy Quidd and originally released in 1980, will be available on April 16, 2011, otherwise known as Record Store Day.
This limited release brings “Pay to Cum” back with original artwork and lyrics sheet insert. The 7″ will be readily available on black vinyl, but ROIR has also issued a limited number on colored vinyl (250 red & 250 green copies pressed). Red and green vinyl are exclusively available at the Bad Brains Official Store. There are also a handful of gold 7″s available from a limited European pressing.
“Pay to Cum” will be available at all participating Record Store Day independent record stores. The Bad Brains are also offering a FREE 320kbps MP3 download of the single until the end of Record Store Day weekend to save you audiophiles time ripping your 45 on your USB turntable… all exclusively from the Bad Brains Store.
