Vinyl Vision is an original weekly series at TVD produced by AmusicChannel.tv.

Zac Ives wanted to open a record store. At the time though, in the early 2000s, vinyl was a risky venture. So instead of waiting, the guys, who had already built a successful local record label, jumped in headfirst, creating not only a world-class record shop, but one of the cooler venues in Memphis.

Now, Goner Records is synonymous with everything that makes Memphis’ music scene one of the most unique in America. Gonerfest 2011 takes place September 22-25, 2011.
