TVD’s The Idelic Hour with Jon Sidel

Greetings from Laurel Canyon!

Hey, kiddies, this week’s Idelic Hour is even simpler than last week’s. It’s a playlist to blast in the car either on your way to Coachella or in lieu of making the scene.

Coachella Week 2 equals “second verse same as the first” ?

Some around our Canyon may knock going to Coachella, especially Week 2. Some say this year’s festival line-up is weak? Some may say it’s too expensive or it’s “not what it use to be” ? Some may say it’s not as hot as Week 1 or that everyone has already “eaten the brown acid.”

But I say, “This is fucking California, man,” and Coachella Week 2 is a mellower vibe! The wind will die down, and performers’ nerves and kinks will have been worked out. A glorious time will be had by all music lovers so…

For those of us who live and “rock on” here in LA, Coachella is California’s expression. It’s a week to open our arms and welcome all to what is great about our scene. Whether you’re from Silverlake or The Bay, we’ll have this week together in desert. There will be fun, sunshine, great music, and style.

If you can’t join us on the polo fields of Indio then, tune and “wish you were beer” yet again for a second week!
