Caroline Rose boasts a heavy amounts of charm through extremely raw deliveries of her songs. The effort America Religious is 12 tracks deep with influences ranging from folk, gospel, and R&B. Along with musical partner Jer Coons, Rose covers all aspects of production and performances on the record.
Rose’s take on folk is full of a brash sense of honesty and an attachment to grit. Her lyrical content covers anything from personal to political, brought to life through a dry wit and emotive vocals. As much of a story-teller as a lyricist, Rose’s music is as much about the journey as the destination.
