Want to know what makes us happy? This does.

“Elvis Presley’s first ever record sells at auction for $300,000 on singer’s 80th birthday.” Sooo, where’s the vinyl among his 80th birthday reissue series?

“In a collaboration this past year that was even more unlikely than working with Kanye West, Paul McCartney wrote and recorded a song called “Hope for the Future” for the popular video game Destiny. On January 13th, McCartney will releasing the track as a 12″ vinyl single.

“Light in the Attic has given the world some unforgettable reissues of obscure records lost in the sands of time, and here’s its latest. It comes from California gospel-soul group the Supreme Jubilees in the form of the 1980 album It’ll All Be Over. This will be out on January 20.”

Remembering Cardiff’s Catapult 100 % Vinyl, “which had been Cardiff’s only independent dance music specialist for some years.”

“The explosive resurgence of vinyl has taken an unexpected casualty: Canada’s only vinyl record-pressing plant.”

Mark Kozelek’s Live at Biko receives the reissue treatment.
