We do like a bit of pop occasionally here at The Vinyl District and Chromatone has been ringing in our ears this past week since his single “Flyin'” was released. It’s a catchy piece of electro-tinged pop featuring Natty Speaks.
The video features Chromatone displaying some of his breakdancing moves, for which he’s become quite known for on the live circuit. Live, he combines energetic breakdancing with his catchy, uptempo pop. We’re not sure what this song is about, but the explanation on his YouTube is “just a song about a parrot” and if it is, we love it even more.
As Chromatone, leaps and bounds towards the sky, the video ends with him taking one final jump as the music comes to a close. The single is only a prelude to the forthcoming EP “Touchdown,” which will be released 11th November.
